Longstock Water Gardens in May
The Cruising Committee is planning a private visit to these famous and beautiful
Water Gardens just north of Stockbridge, starting at 10.00 a.m, and open to all
There will be a short talk about the Water Gardens, then we are free to wander
There are plenty of places to sit down on the way round, but no shelter (other
than trees!) should it rain. The visit should take about 90 minutes in total and
the gardens are stunning in May!
We plan to follow the visit with lunch at the Longstock Nursery and Farm Shop
Café a short drive away. The gardens and the Farm Shop are part of the Leckford
Estate, which is owned by John Lewis.
If there is sufficient interest in travelling by coach from Hamble we will look
into arranging a coach, but this will depend entirely on uptake. The Water
Gardens are approximately an hour's drive from Hamble. The cost will be
£10.50/head for the Water Gardens and this will be debited to your club card.
Please email Ann Arscott at
email@example.com if you would like to join us.
Please also advise whether you would like to eat at the Farm Shop Café, and if
you would be interested in travelling by coach ASAP.
Closing date Tuesday May 1st
