Following a very busy start to the year, the Fundraising Team (FT) has kept the momentum going into the second quarter with a string of successful events.
Our much-loved Spring Lunch once again proved popular, while two brand new additions—the Cream Tea with the Watercress Quartet and the Sundowners with an Art Exhibition—were warmly received. The FT are pleased to update you that this quarter we have raised £2,249, bringing our total for the year so far to an impressive £7,333. These funds support our chosen good causes, Mountbatten Hampshire and Wetwheels Hamble, as well as Club enhancements.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated team of volunteers, including the Helping Hands Team (HHT), whose energy and commitment make everything possible. We also extend our sincere thanks to all Club members for their continued generosity and support. We’re excited to keep the spirit going with more events planned for the autumn.
