On a bright, crisp autumn day, 60 bridge players joined us for the Autumn Bridge Drive, a wonderful afternoon of cards, camaraderie, and delicious treats. Eight of the tables were guest tables, including two from the RAF and five from the Chilworth Bridge Club, adding to the friendly and competitive spirit of the day.
After several lively rounds of bridge, players enjoyed the traditional Afternoon Tea, featuring fantastic sandwiches, homemade cakes, and scones. Thank you to our fantastic team of bakers and sandwich makers, with everything beautifully served by the FT and HHT.
It proved to be a great fundraising afternoon, with prizes awarded for: Highest Score – Dudley (3,500 points), Lowest Score – David from the RAF (just under 500), No Slam, and the Lucky 2 Prize – Debera & Ann Hardy.
